Wholesale General Information
Qualification:
To qualify for a Maria Victoria wholesale account, you must be a retail business with a brick-and-mortar storefront and possess a valid resale exemption certificate.
Conditions of Sale:
The minimum order varies depending on the type of wholesaler:
- Sales rep: $550.00
- General: $350.00
- VIP: $750.00
Online Sales:
Sell products online only through approved websites.
Prohibited from advertising or selling on third-party online platforms.
Account Relationship:
By placing an order and providing your resale certificate, you affirm that you are the owner or representative of a current retail business.
The business relationship is 'at will,' and Maria Victoria reserves the right to terminate it at any time for any reason.
Usage Restrictions:
Retailers may not use the name Maria Victoria for their store or as their social media handle without written approval.
Independent distributors are prohibited from selling items that may compete with our brand.
Account Management:
Accounts are opened based on location availability and supply capacity.
Inactive accounts will receive an email after 90 days of inactivity, and if not reactivated, they will be automatically closed.
Account Payments
Payment Terms:
All orders require credit card payment unless otherwise approved.
To apply for net 30 terms, accounts must prepay their first three orders with a credit card. Contact accounting@mariavictoria.com to obtain your credit reference application. All opening orders must be prepaid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. To provide a credit card, please contact accounting@mariavictoria.com. A $25 fee will be charged for any returned checks due to insufficient funds. A 1.5% per month late charge will be applied to all invoices 31+ days past due. Accounts more than 60 days past due will be sent to collections. Customers agree to pay all collection costs and attorney’s fees. Terms will be revoked after a two-year lapse in order placement. Late Payments:
Accounts failing to pay within the stipulated terms will incur a $50.00 late penalty fee, plus 2% monthly interest on outstanding amounts.
Wholesaler Requirements:
Zip code protection is not guaranteed, and inactive accounts for 90 days may result in the area becoming available to other customers.
Price Changes:
Maria Victoria reserves the right to change prices without notice, and the billed price will be the one in effect at the date of shipment.
MSRP and Price Adjustments:
Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP):
Products or goods purchased from Maria Victoria should be sold at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP).
Price Increase Authorization:
The Wholesale Account is authorized to increase the MSRP by a maximum of 30%.
Discount Limitation:
In the event the Wholesale Account chooses to place the products or goods for sale at a discount, the Wholesale Account shall not discount the products more than 40% below MSRP.
Backorder Policy
Cancellation and Substitution:
Cancellation of Backorder Items:
Maria Victoria reserves the right to cancel any backordered items that may cause a delay beyond the agreed-upon timeframe.
Notification of Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation, Maria Victoria will notify you in advance.
Substitute Request:
You have the option to request a substitute for the backordered item in case of cancellation, but only if the order has not been shipped in completion.
